I’ve started my position as a Researcher at the Department of Chemistry – BMC funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. I will be working in the fields of computational enzymology and protein engineering. However, my main project is methods development of a purely computational approach to accurately estimating electric fields in biomolecules. The systems and problems I am working on will be showcased on this website, and I hope that visitors will find it interesting and insightful!
For the first time in my career, I’m now an independent researcher and the PI of my own research group. Currently, I’m looking for students who want to do their Masters Degree projects in my lab. I’m also open to hosting ERASMUS or exchange graduate students. Postdocs with their own funding are also more than welcome to contact me. I would be happy to assist in applying for postdoc funding. Contact me through my work e-mail (Yasmin dot Shamsudin at kemi dot uu dot se) for more information!
